A traffic stop on the PA Turnpike in Westmoreland County turned up 13 pounds of suspected cocaine. The Trib reports that a Trooper monitoring westbound traffic in Mt. Pleasant Township around 1 PM Wednesday said that he saw a Jeep with illegally tinted windows. When police pulled the car over, the driver, Ronald Anthony Gotto of New York, and his passenger, gave police permission to search the vehicle and troopers found the cocaine in a hidden compartment. Gatto is in Westmoreland County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for May 7th.
