Eastern Gas is making improvements to their utility infrastructure in Westmoreland, Armstrong, and Greene counties. The natural gas supplier held an open house to share information on the Appalachian Reliability Project in Murrysville yesterday. The initiative includes upgrades at compressor stations and other facilities in the region and a new metering and regulating operation in Kiski Township. Construction is expected to begin in 2027 and be completed by June the following year.
