POWERFUL STORMS CAUSE WIDESPREAD DAMAGE

The powerful storms caused widespread damage across the county.  Trees and power lines were reported down throughout the county.  As of right now, 54,740 of First Energy’s customers are still without power this morning.  North Huntingdon Township has the highest number of outages at 6,336.  First Energy is saying this may be a multiple day restoration effort, so they ask you be patient.  Several schools have either delayed the start of class or cancelled class altogether.  That list will be made available on our website, WHJBFM.com
