HARRISON TOWNSHIP UNDER MANDATORY WATER CONSERVATION NOTICE

People in Harrison Township are under a mandatory water conservation notice.  The Trib reports that the alert was issued yesterday asking residents to conserve in the wake of the storms.  Authority officials say that the utility problems are affecting the ability to run the water plant and distribution pumps through the system, but they are working with the township, county and state agencies to correct issues.  The conservation efforts are needed to make sure that there is enough water for critical needs like sanitation, drinking and fire safety.
