Westmoreland County Commissioners have approved two short-term parking spaces for the drop-off of mail-in ballots at the election bureau. The Trib reports that the two spots are along Pennsylvania Avenue near the rear entrance to the courthouse. No drop-boxes were approved for this spring’s election, so people will have to drop the ballot off at the election bureau. As of Monday, nearly 25,000 people have requested no-excuse mail-in ballots for the primary election. The deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot is May 13.
