TWO WESTMORELAND COUNTY WOMEN PLEAD NOT GUILTY

Two Westmoreland County women are pleading not guilty after being accused of abusing their grandson.  Mary Shroyer and Elma Ritenour allegedly denied the ten-year-old boy food, made him sit for long periods of time and — at times — would not allow him to go to the restroom.  Both women pled not guilty to all charges on Wednesday, which include aggravated assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
