The Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission is reviewing the response to the deadly storms in the Pittsburgh area late last month. The commission says they will be looking at how utilities addressed the outages and widespread damage. Some Duquesne Light customers spent over a week in the dark as crews removed fallen trees and replaced downed power lines. A PUC spokesperson says their goal is to improve the responses to damaging weather events in the future.
