LATROBE CITY MANAGER RESIGNS

Latrobe city manager Terry Carcella has resigned his post to take a similar position in Springdale.  The Trib reports that his departure is effective May 23rd, with his work in Springdale to start four days later.  Carcella said he was unable to come to terms with Latrobe officials on continued employment with the city after his three-year contract expired.  A special meeting of Latrobe City Council is scheduled for May 27th with the agenda to include an interim step of dividing up some of the areas Carcella oversaw on the job.
