An investigation is underway into a vehicle that was pulled from the Youghiogheny River over the weekend. WTAE-TV reports that a white SUV was found in eight to 10 feet in the river near Sutersville Road late Saturday night. West Newton Police said the vehicle was pulled out at 9:15 the next morning due to the fast moving current of the river and due to darkness. No one was inside the vehicle at the time, but the owner was contacted. More details are expected to be released today.
