Several people were displaced after a fire destroyed their home in Unity yesterday morning. The Trib reports that the fire started around 3:45 AM at a home along Route 130. The residents were alerted via a smoke detector and were able to get out. One firefighter suffered a burn to their hand, but no other injuries were reported. A garage attached to the house was also damaged and at least one vehicle parked inside it was destroyed. State police fire marshals are investigating the cause.
