LOWER BURRELL COUNCIL ELECTION RESULTS

David Stoltz and Carley Logan are taking the nominations in the Republican primary for Lower Burrell Council.  Unofficial results show the two of them each getting more votes than candidate Lance Anthony.  Incumbent Stoltz is looking to hang onto his council seat while Logan is trying to build on her experience as the city’s Parks and Recreation Commission president.  There were no Democrat candidates running for the nomination for the two council seats but 89 write-in votes were entered.  Details on who the write-in votes are for are not yet available.  Roughly 23% of registered voters cast a ballot either by mail or in person in the election.  All results are unofficial until certified by the county elections board.  We have a link to the results on our website, WHJBfm.com
