A Westmoreland County judge Thursday rejected a request to shorten the prison sentence of one of the two men convicted for their roles in a downtown Greensburg shootout in early 2022. 25-year old Evan Curley of Greensburg pleaded guilty to aggravate assault in connection with a confrontation in front of the former Rialto Bar & Bistro in which he and a bystander were wounded. Curley and 28-year old Stevin German were sentenced to 40 months to 10 years in prison for their roles in the shooting. Curley asked that his minimum sentence be shortened by four months. Common Pleas Judge Christopher Feliciani said the 40-month sentence he imposed against Curley in November will stand.
