PORTION OF ROUTE 30 IN JEANNETTE TO CLOSE UNTIL LATE JUNE

A portion of Route 130 in Jeannette and Penn Township will close Friday for construction. The Trib reports that PennDOT will close the road through Late June, depending on weather and operations. During the closure, a 60-inch corrugated metal pipe will be replaced by a PennDOT crew with a 60-inch concrete pipe The closure will be between 14th Street in Jeannette and Burrell Hill Road in Penn Township. The posted detour in both directions will take motorists onto Oakford Park Road, Business Route 66 and Bushy Run Road.
