Today marks the 10th anniversary of the attack at Franklin-Regional High School. On this day, then-16-year-old Alex Hribal, a sophomore at the school, stabbed 20 students and security guard John Resetar with two 8 to 10 inch knives before he was subdued by the principal of the school. Since then, there have been several security upgrades, and Hribal was sentenced in 2018 to serve up to 60 years in prison.
