NATIONAL SAFE BOATING WEEK

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is sharing some reminders in recognition of National Safe Boating Week. PFBC is looking ahead to this coming weekend’s busy Memorial Day holiday and urging boaters to be prepared when they head out on the water. They say individuals should always avoid operating a boat while intoxicated, leave a float plan with someone on shore, and remain aware of their surroundings. Emergency officials are also urging everyone onboard a watercraft to wear their life jackets at all times.
