CHARGES NOT DROPPED AGAINST GREENSBURG WOMAN ACCUSED OF GIVING CHILD FENTANYL

A Greensburg woman charged with giving an eight-year-old girl a dose of fentanyl lost her bid to have the charges against her dropped. The Trib reports that 31-year-old Skye Naggy will remain in Westmoreland County Prison for now.  She is accused of taking the victim to a wooded area near Loyalhanna Lake in October of 2022 and giving the child opiates and fentanyl.  The child was taken to the hospital.  Two doctors who evaluated Naggy said that she was not sane at the time of the crime, and her attorneys may use that as a defense.
