ATTORNEY SAYS VIDEO SUPPORTS CLAIMS THAT RIALTO STABBING WAS JUSTIFIED

The defense attorney for a man charged in a stabbing outside the former Rialto in Greensburg says a video that was shown yesterday at the trial supports his claim that his client’s actions were justified.  The Trib reports that the video depicts the moments after Joseph Williams was stabbed at least ten times in the incident on November 24th of 2022.  Anthony Sharp has maintained that his actions were in self-defense.  The video shows Williams on top of the man accused of his attempted murder while others attempt to pull him away.  Jury deliberations are expected to begin today.
