A former Greensburg police officer is still receiving over $5,000 in pension one month after pleading guilty in federal court to engaging in meth distribution with the former city police chief. The Trib reports that 51-year-old Regina McAtee has received over $56,000 in pension payments since August 1st. Former chief Sean Denning admitted to conspiring with her to order and pay for drugs from suppliers online between November 2020 and January 2023. City offiicals claim they cannot revoke her pension unless they can prove the crimes she pleaded guilty to occurred during or because of her public employment, and that evidence is expected to be available after her sentencing in August.
