MAN IN CUSTODY AFTER ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTING WOMAN IN ARNOLD

A man is in custody after police say he assaulted a woman in Arnold. The Trib reports that Cue Freckleton is accused of forcing his way into the victim’s home Monday night and sexually assaulting the woman. The victim also said that Freckleton punched her over 20 times, and threatened to continue to beat her unless she performed a sex act on him. Arnold police charged Freckleton with attempted criminal homicide, rape, aggravated assault, burglary and strangulation. Bail was denied and he is due for a preliminary hearing on June 27th.
