GREENSBURG NATIVE HEADED TO THE 2024 PARIS OLYMPICS

A Greensburg native is headed to the 2024 Olympics in Paris.  WPXI-TV reports that Bridget Williams of the University of Virginia’s Track and Field team qualified for the pole vault, placing first in the final yesterday at the olympic qualifiers in Eugene, Oregon.  She posted a 4.73 meter vault during qualifiers and joins Brynn King and Katie Moon on the team headed to Paris.  This marks her first olympic games.
