TWO MORE FIRE COMPANIES LOOKING TO GO UNDER HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP MANAGEMENT

Another two fire companies are looking to go under the management of Hempfield Township.  The Grapeville and Adamsburg departments are taking the steps needed to become non-chartered companies and have the township cover their costs.  North Hempfield is already established as a non-chartered company and Fort Allen and Midway-Saint Clair are into the process as well.  Township commissioners invited area fire departments to enter into the agreement earlier this year as a way to keep them in operation.
