Organizers are expecting record attendance at Anthrocon in Pittsburgh later this week. VisitPITTSBURGH says more than 15-thousand furries will be downtown for the return of the event at the David Lawrence Convention Center, running this Thursday through Sunday. The convention is one of the largest of its kind, devoted to people who celebrate anthropomorphic animals by wearing full-body costumes. Tourism experts say the event will likely generate nearly 17-a-half-million dollars in direct visitor spending.
