HOMETOWN HEROES BANNER CEREMONY AT ST. CLAIR PARK TODAY

43 veterans will be honored in a Hometown Heroes banner ceremony at St. Clair Park this Saturday.  The Trib reports that this is part of the Hometown Heroes project  that was set up in 2020 by Ashley Kertes, the former executive director of the Greensburg Community Deelopment Corporation.  Over 200 banners have been purchased since the program started, with each banner hanging for two years.  While this year’s banners are ready to go, anyone interested in taking part in the 2025 program can find an interest form on the program’s website, which we have linked in this story at WHJBfm.com.
