Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson. has identified the man who was killed in an accident on Thursday when a tree fell during cleanup from the tornado that came through North Mahoning Township. The Trib reports that 18-year-old Jacob John Lazar of Irwin was killed when a tree fell from an excavator bucket. His death was announced by his father on the Facebook page for Harrison-based Boy Scout Troop 236, where John earned his Eagle Scout rank, saying he died “doing what he loved to do, which is help others.” Graziano Funeral Home in Jeannette will be in charge of arrangements.
