A Penn Hills man pulled over for a traffic stop on Tuesday handed police a baggie of drugs. The Trib reports that agents with the PA Attorney General’s office and Westmoreland County Drug Task Force were conducting operations in the area when they pulled over 51-year-old Shawn Rose in the 1700 block of Third Avenue for illegal window tint. Officers saw a 9mm handgun on the floor and when he was asked to get out, he handed police a baggie that had over half an ounce of cocaine. Police found more crack cocaine and marijuana in the vehicle. Rose is being held in Westmoreland County Jail without bail, and a preliminary hearing is set for July 18th.
