Over 850 West Penn Power customers in Penn Township were without power after some strong isolated storms rolled through the area last night. The Trib reports that storm-related damage was reported at 8:45 in Penn Township In addition, downed power lines closed the Turnpike between the Cranberry and Butler interchanges shortly before 8 p.m, and reopening an hour and a half later. As of now, 60 customers remain without power, with the most of them being in North Huntingdon Township.
