Officials in the City of Butler and in Butler Township report workers there are being harassed over the Trump rally shooting. Local Councilman Donald Shearer says some municipal employees have gotten threatening phone calls and emails since a gunman tried to assassinate the former president on Saturday. Shearer says it’s frustrating because these individuals are simply community members and neighbors who had nothing to do with what happened. The response is more evidence of the aggression that is coming from both sides of national politics, according to Shearer.
