VEHICLE CRASHED INTO HOME

A vehicle crashed into a home in Unity Township on Saturday.  WPXI-TV reports that crews were called out to 100 Bethel Church Road at 2:19 PM.  Firefighters said that one person was able to get out of the car under their own power but were taken to a local hospital.  The vehicle caused severe damage, destroying a part of the home’s siding and knocked down a support beam on part of the porch.  Fire crews say the house is secured.
