Exterminators are treating a pest problem at a condemned apartment building in Latrobe. City Manager Terry Carcella says the local government is paying to have the six-story tower treated for cockroaches and bedbugs and they plan to bill the owner for the cost. The property has other issues that need fixed, including a leaking roof and a nonfunctioning elevator, according to Carcella. Some area organizations helped relocate the tenants back in March.
