HYDE PARK MAN TO SERVE PROBATION

A Hyde Park man will serve probation for charges of child pornography.  The Trib reports that 34-year-old Joshua Townsend will serve a year of house arrest and two additional years of probation.  Prison time was avoided as he said that he suffered from depression after his wife left him.  On top of the probation, he is not allowed to have contact with children and have no unsupervised contact with his biological children.
