KEYSTONE LAKE BEACH CLOSED

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has closed the beach at Keystone Lake in Derry township to swimmers due to high algae levels.  The Trib reports that water test levels received last week showed high levels at the lake.  The closure will remain in effect until rainfall or lower temperatures come through to improve conditions.  Boating and fishing are still allowed at the lake, but people are advised to use some caution when around the water.
