Jeannette Public Library was closed on Tuesday after a bomb threat was called into City Hall. The Trib reports that the threat was phoned in on Monday and indicated that the bomb would be there the next day. Police searched the building at 4:00 PM Monday and nothing was found. Neighboring businesses also shut down Monday until authorities deemed it was safe. According to a post on its Facebook page, the library is expected to be open today.
