TEEN CHARGED AS ADULT IN STABBING

A 13-year-old boy was charged as an adult on Thursday in connection with the stabbing of a 10-year-old child.  The Trib reports that James Campbell is accused of stabbing Hunter Meyers in the head multiple times, killing him in the process.  Charges were filed nearly 11 hours after state police were notified of Meyers’ death at Campbell’s home on Donegal Lake Road.  Bond was denied due to the charges of criminal homicide and first degree murder.  A preliminary hearing is set for August 9th.
