TRIAL OF LATROBE MAN TO GO TO JURY THIS MORNING

The trial of a Latrobe man accused of rape in 2020 is set to go to the jury this morning.  The Trib reports that closing arguments were presented yesterday in the trial of Glenn Jones, Jr, who is accused of raping a then-15 year old girl and groping a then-16 year old girl.  While defense attorney Jaclyn Shaw questioned the validity of the testimony of the two victims, assistant DA Anthony Iannamorelli said there was no reason for the victims to lie.  He is charged by Latrobe police with rape, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors and related offenses.
