PLUM COMMUNITY MARKS ONE YEAR SINCE HOUSE EXPLOSION

The Plum community is marking one year since the deadly house explosion in the Rustic Ridge neighborhood today.  Investigators have still not determined what caused the blast that claimed six lives on August 12th of last year.  Local churches plan to ring their bells at 10:23 this morning, the approximate time of the explosion.  Borough employees will also observe a moment of silence.  Saint Januarius Church on Renton Road is holding a remembrance mass at 6:30 this evening.
