FORMER NORTH HUNTINGDON TAVERN TO BE TORN DOWN

A former tavern will soon be torn down in North Huntingdon. The Rivertowne Pub and Grill on Route 30 closed in 2018 after its owner, Rivertowne Brewery Company, filed for bankruptcy. Then in 2021, the building was condemned as unsafe and uninhabitable. The township says it is now beginning the bidding process to demolish the building.
