ALLEGHENY TOWNSHIP WOMAN INJURED IN TRACTOR ACCIDENT

A woman was flown to the hospital yesterday after an accident involving a tractor in Allegheny Township.  WTAE-TV reports that the accident happened around 6:00 PM in the 1300 block of Route 356 near Leechburg Road.  911 Dispatchers said that she suffered a serious leg injury that would require amputation and she was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.  The victim’s name and condition have not been announced.
