A woman from Murrysville faces charges related to an incident last week after she allegedly picked a fight with a Westmoreland County Transit driver. Court documents say that 40-year-old Lindsay Rae Johnson was charged with robbery-taking property by force and with attempted theft by unlawful taking for the incident. The driver picked up Johnson at her residence, and when they got to the next stop, Johnson accused the driver of taking her belongings and tried to pull the driver’s sweatshirt off. The driver stopped the bus and got off before the defendant allegedly followed and hit him several times. Johnson then got back on the bus and sat in the driver’s seat until Troopers arrived. A preliminary hearing is set for September 9th. She remains in Westmoreland County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
