DELMONT MAN PLEADS GUILTY

A Delmont man pleaded guilty yesterday to charges of sexually assaulting a teenage girl months after he sentenced to house arrest and probation on similar charges from 2022.  The Trib reports that 24-year-old Dezhane Amey was sentenced to nine to 23 months in jail for guilty pleas to charges of statutory sexual assault and indecent assault of a child.  He will be eligible for parole in early October.  He must also register as a child sex offender for the next 25 years.
