Officials with Franklin Regional School District are looking into the current conditions of their athletics facilities. The school board is hiring a consulting firm to prepare a review of existing sports fields and possible additions. Superintendent Gennaro Piraino says coaches and players are currently at a disadvantage because of inadequate athletics spaces and locker rooms. The district is spending about ten-thousand dollars on the study.
