Greater Latrobe School Board approved a bid to replace the artificial turf at two high school athletic fields. The Trib reports that the board approved a contract with The Motz Group at a cost of $1.68 million. The company has been maintaining the turf at Rossi Soccer and Auxiliary football field and the Graham-Sobota multipurpose field. At the Graham-Sobota Field, the contractor also will widen an access road to accommodate equipment that is 8 feet wide. Work is expected to begin this summer.
