Two men who pleaded guilty to attempted theft of U.S. submarine metal will serve time in prison. The Trib reports that 27-year-old Bobby Lucci and 22-year-old Marcello Miguel, both of New Jersey, were ordered to serve a day less than one to a day less than two years in prison but were given credit for time served. When the prison terms are complete, they will serve two years of probation. Police said they attempted to steal three cylindrical discs of nickel chromium iron alloy from Hamill Manufacturing Co. on Pleasant Valley Road in January. A third person, 31-year-old Anthony Miguel, also of New Jersey, received a similar prison sentence, but was ordered to serve five years of probation.
