DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS PROVIDES GRANT TO WESTERN PA

The federal Department of Veterans Affairs is providing a 750-thousand dollar grant to help aid with veteran suicide prevention in Western Pennsylvania.  Funds will be split among a number of counties including Allegheny, Westmoreland, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Lawrence, Mercer and Washington Counties.  The grant was announced yesterday by Chris Deluzio — representative of Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional District.
