POSSIBILITY OF GREENSBURG GARBAGE BURNING BAN

An ban on garbage burning could be coming to Greensburg.  The Trib reports that an ordinance is scheduled to be introduced at tonight’s council meeting that would prohibit burning waste to control air pollution.  This would not affect recreational fires, like campfires or using a fire pit to cook.  If it is approved for advertisement tonight, it will be put up for final approval at council’s meeting in November.
