EAST HUNTINGDON HOUSE FIRE

More information has been released concerning a house fire yesterday morning along Mt. Pleasant Road in East Huntingdon.  The Trib reports that the fire destroyed the mobile home, but a neighbor banged on a window and made sure that the two people living there were able to escape.  Firefighters efforts were hampered as a nearby hydrant in Mt. Pleasant Village was not usable as there was no water pressure behind it.  Crews had to use a hydrant 1500 feet away.
