A Monroeville man was ordered to serve up to 15 years in state prison for his part in a shooting in the parking lot of a Rostraver bar and restaurant two years ago. The Trib reports that 29-year-old Darius Ronel Hunter pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm as part of a deal that saw charges of attempted murder and others not prosecuted in connection with the shooting in June of 2022. Police said Hunter admitted he fired as many as six shots during a melee outside Sweeney’s Steakhouse. No motive for the shooting was revealed in court documents.
