WESTMORELAND COUNTY PARKS AND REC PAVILION FEES TO INCREASE

The fee for reserving pavilions at Westmoreland County Parks will see a significant jump in the new year.  The Trib reports that the fees could increase from $25 to $100 based on the pavilion’s amenities and capacity.  Officials with the county public works office say that they are bringing fees in line with current rates that are being offered elsewhere.  Reservations can be made on a first-come first served basis through the county website, and if a reservation for next year is made now, the rates for this year are locked in at the current rate.
