TRAFFORD MAN CHARGED WITH EXTORTION

A Trafford man is charged with extorting money from his elderly uncle.  The Trib reports that 40-year-old Joseph Calisti is accused of defrauding the Murrysville man of more than $10,000 in purported legal fees in a scheme authorities say involved a bogus claim the uncle’s properties were under investigation by state environmental officials by impersonating a representative of the state Department of Environmental Protection.  Calisti is in Westmoreland County Jail after failing to post $50,000 bail
