LATROBE CITY COUNCIL FINE TUNES 2025 BUDGET

Latrobe City Council is continuing to fine-tune the 2025 budget.  The Trib reports council recently approved doubling the realty transfer tax to 1% and increase the annual fee it charges for some mechanical devices.  Those opposed to the transfer tax increase say it will add to the closing cost of real estates.  Council is expected to hold a special meeting on December 23rd to finalize the budget.
