GREATER LATROBE SCHOOL BOARD NAMES INTERIM SUPERINTENDENT

The Greater Latrobe School Board has named an interim superintendent who will start January 1st as the district looks for a new permanent administrative leader.  The Trib reports that at a special meeting yesterday, the board voted current assistant to the superintendent for elementary education Becki Pellis to be the interim superintendent on top of all her other duties.  She will take the seat of Mike Porembka, who is retiring to spend time with his family.
